Ozgun is an Interaction Designer and HCI Researcher currently based in Stockholm. She is a graduate of MA Information Experience Design and MA Animation at the Royal College of Art, London. Having a passion to deconstruct and understand ‘what things are made of’ and ‘how they move’ (including the human body), she worked with this inquiry through her kinetic machines during her master studies where she combined biosignals with simple mechanics, crafts and fabrication techniques. She is currently a researcher in Soma Research Group at MID, KTH. Her primary focus is in harmonizing human-material interactions while designing for and with the body, blending adaptive, transformative and conforming aesthetic qualities into the design of on-body interfaces.
