ABOUT
I am a design engineer and HCI Researcher. With a curiosity to deconstruct and understand how things move, I studied movement through a number of mechanical automata I built during my MA at the Royal College of Art, London. In my past work, I coupled bio-signals with mechanical automata to create a continuous nonverbal flow between the body and machine.
Currently, I'm exploring epidermal soft robotic interfaces for creative skill acquisition and transfer applications, catering a symbiotic relationship between the body and the soft robotic interface where both are prone to change, learn from, and adapt to one-another over time.
I am a Research Affiliate at Tangible Media Group at MIT Media Lab, and a PhD Candidate at Soma Design Lab at KTH as well as Microsystems Technology at Uppsala University in Sweden.
