We said, 'Follow your intuition!' and had 3 workshops together. We surprised ourselves with intuitive design, observed the mutualities between making of sculptures and architecture, and the moments they feed eachother. We explored the possibilities within 3D printing.
Commissioned by Studio-X, Istanbul.
More details on the exhibition can be found here.
This is an exhibition design graphically and physically curated and built by me, presenting 3d-printed works of architecture students, an architect and a sculptor based on a workshop with the theme of "intuitive design". The student works were placed on layered vertical surfaces with magnets so that the visitor could touch and hold the prints to take a closer look at and sense the details. Prints have also been coated with glow in the dark spray paint for the opening night of the exhibition, as a celebration for the future of 3D printing technology.
All prints from the workshops, and works by Architect Can Çinici and Sculptor Emre Basoglu were be exhibited for 8 weeks at Studio-X Istanbul.
